Musicians and artists support Haiti Appeal in Manorhamilton
Leitrim Sculpture Centre and the Glens Centre, Manorhamilton are to support a local arts initiative to raise funds for the Haiti Earthquake Appeal.
Artists are invited to donate artworks for exhibition and sale at both centres on Friday, February 19 between 1-11pm.
Artwork to be a maximum A3 in size, unframed and in any medium. A max of two works may be submitted. All donated work will be made available for sale at a flat price of €50 and 100% of all cheques and funds received will be sent to 'Medicin San Frontiers' working in Haiti.
The event will also include a Benefit Concert at the Glens Centre at 8.30pm that evening.
Musicians confirmed include members of Dervish, Kila, No Crows and including writer Dermot Healey. Other acts to be announced.
Participating Artists should forward their name, title, size of work, medium and year to jackiemckennasculpture@eircom.net by February 12.
All art works to arrive at LSC by Wednesday, February 16 and sent or posted to: Haiti Appeal,Leitrim Sculpture Centre, New Line, Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim.
Please include your name, address, email and artwork details at the back of each piece submitted.
LSC exhibition will remain open on Saturay 20 and Sunday 21 from 2-6pm.
