Well known Mohill milliner, Jennifer Wrynne, wowed celebrity judge, Sile Seoige last week, taking out top honoursin the Littlewoods Ireland Best Dressed Lady Competition at Sligo Racecourse.

As race-goers basked in the summer sun, Sile cast her eye over the Sligo ladies who were dressed to impress: “I was overwhelmed by how creative all of our finalists were with their outfits, whether they made their own hats, customised their accessories or even recycled clothes from their grandmothers! However, I knew that minute I seen Jennifer that she was our winner I couldnt take my eyes off her, her outfit was simply stunning.”

Jennifer is a local milliner and designed her own winning headpiece.

“I cant believe I have won the Best Dressed Lady! I am passionate about my millinery so winning the Best Dressed Lady in one of my own designs makes it all the more special. I love the block coloured look for summer and since the weather was so nice this afternoon, I chose bright colours for my outfit. My dress is from Wallis, my shoes are from Aldo and my hat is my own,” she said following her win.

As Best Dressed Lady, Jennifer won a €2,000 shopping spree with Littlewoods Ireland, Irelands Leading Online Department Store, while the nine other finalists Clare McKim, Sligo; Natasha Carty, Sligo; Emma McCormack, Castlebar; Mary Carthy, Sligo; Laura Mulligan, Tullamore; Marissa Travers, Manorhamilton; Caroline Haren, Monaghan; Fiona Guilfoyle, Mullingar and Stacey Carty, Sligo each received a €100 shopping voucher.
