Drumshanbo Town & Community Festival welcomes everyone to celebrate St Patrick’s Day and weekend in Drumshanbo.

The Drumshanbo St. Patrick’s Day committee have jammed in a weekend of celebrations for young and old to enjoy.

Music will be heard from every corner of the town beginning this Friday 15th with THE OUTLAWS in the Lough Allen Hotel. Yee-Haw! Dust off those old Cowboy and Cowgal boots and get ready to doesy-doe your partner.

This is a one-off, spectacular, fun filled good old fashioned Country and Western Style hoe down jamboree in order to raise awareness and much needed funds to help these worthwhile, local support groups.

Doors open at 9pm, music starts at 10.30pm. This fundraiser will be in aid of Childhood Days (support group providing after school service for children with intellectual disabilities) and STOP (Suicide awareness group in North Leitrim). Tickets are €15 available from Centra, Gala and the Lough Allen Hotel. Also on Friday night a benefit social
event with music by Rambling Fever in the Millrace bar.

Saturday 16th will be a non stop feast for the ears as there will be free entertainment throughout the town in every pub.

On Sunday, March 17 the parade will start at 3.45pm with singing from Ceoltóirí Lough Allan just before the parade takes to the high street. Be sure to get your place early in the parade!

There will be music everywhere for the remainder of the day and late into the night.

There will be plenty of parking within easy walking distance of the festivities! Visit Drumshanbo this weekend where we will be rolling out the green carpet for you!
