Declan Guckian returns to play a gig in The Dock, Carrick-on-Shannon this Thursday July 25.
Drawing on influences from the likes of Damien Rice, Chris Cornell and Jeff Buckley this artist has become a new name in the book of heartfelt and thought provoking songwriters.
In short, Declan’s history includes playing support slots to ‘Duke Special’ and ‘The Coronas’, while also becoming a regular face in venues around London .
His unique approach to folk music is expressed with a haunting voice capable of captivating anyone in earshot.
Now, with an EP release under his belt along with playing the apple store on Regent Street in London and becoming a guitarist for X-Factor finalist Sophie Habibis, Declan returns with a completely new set of experiences and stories to tell. Fresh from a UK tour, this emerging artist returns once more for the official release of his debut E.P ‘Gone From Here’.
“The recording process has been long and difficult but I’ve loved every second of it. I now have something to put in your hands and say ‘this is what I do’. I’m really proud of it,” he says.
