A wide range of Jeans collection will be on display and it is a great opportunity to meet the face behind Oak Alley Designs.

Oak Alley Designs are a local company based in Dromahair offering unique bridal and contemporary jewellery. Their range of jewellery includes tiaras, hair combs, earrings, pins and pendants and they also offer customized jewellery sets. Oak Alley Designs also offer Wedding Day Silver, a bespoke design service where brides can preserve leaves from their bridal bouquet in pure silver jewellery. All of Oak Alley jewellery is designed and hand made by Jean Whitfield.

Jean said “The beauty of nature makes me smile. Beautiful jewellery makes me smile. When I combine the natural beauty of nature into my jewellery it makes me smile. I want to share these smiles by bringing my jewellery to a bigger audience. I want the recipient to smile upon opening the gift box and seeing a truly unique piece inspired by nature itself.”

Jean also provides jewellery workshops for groups including hen parties.

As part of The Essence of Craft mini-series taking place at The Leitrim Design House Jean will teach a jewellery workshop on Saturday, February 8 from 10.30am-1pm. The workshop costs €30 materials are €5 and each participant will receive a 10% discount voucher to spend at The Leitrim Design House. Places are limited to 12 so book now to avoid 
disappointment.

The Essence of Craft is a mini-series celebrating different craft disciplines at The Leitrim Design House. Jewellery will be the focus for February where the craftsmanship of silversmiths and goldsmiths from around the country will be celebrated. The series will feature individual exhibitions, workshops and events at The Leitrim Design House.
