Lakeland Dairies which employs a lot of locals in it’s large manufacturing plant and offices in Killeshandra, Co Cavan won the bronze medal at the 2014 British Frozen Foods Federation Awards.
Lakeland Dairies was the only Irish company to be judged at the awards and the milk used in the SuperValu ice cream is supplied by local dairy farmers.

The Co-op, Food Service Headoffice, manufacturing plant and casein plant as well as the Lakeland Dairies Mill and store are all located in Killeshandra. It collects and processes over 700 million litres of milk annually across 15 counties. It offers 170 high quality dairy products in over 70 countries worldwide.
