Seamus O’Rourke, the man who brought you ‘Victor’s Dung’ and ‘Dig’, the highly acclaimed smash hit comedies is back with his latest masterpiece ‘Padraig Potts’ Guide to Walking’ in Kiltyclogher Community Centre on Friday 23rd January. Doors open at 8pm.

Big Guerilla productions are proud to present Padraig Potts’ Guide to Walking O’Rourke’s latest masterpiece which  is now on a nationwide tour — Kiltyclogher Community Council are delighted to host the performance in their village.

The play follows the life of Padraig Potts McKeirnan, who has a habit of just eating whatever is on his plate… metaphorically that is. From growing up near the tiny rural village of Drumnamee, County Leitrim in the 70s and 80s to falling in love with Silvia Lang, a perfect protestant girl… to marrying Mary Tague, the priest’s housekeeper, who he never really liked… to getting rid of Mary Tague and her mother, who he claims invented vinegar… and eventually to the realisation that the world isn’t as big as he first thought.

This is a story full of nostalgia, innocence, olympic standard sex and Holy Water salad dressing… funny and tender, performed by Seamus O’Rourke and beautifully directed by Charlie McGuinness.

Book early to avoid disappointment!
