Moone Boys to light up Boyle for Christmas

The star of Moone Boy, Carrigallen’s David Rawle, will turn on the Christmas lights in Boyle on December 8.

The star of Moone Boy, Carrigallen’s David Rawle, will turn on the Christmas lights in Boyle on December 8.

David who plays the loveable Martin Moone in the hit Sky1 comedy will join Ian O’Reilly (who plays hilarious Padraig on the show) to light up Boyle for Christmas.

The pair will turn the lights on before Santa officially starts the Christmas season at 3.30pm on the Crescent. David Rawle will also present the winners of the treasure Hunt from earlier in the day with their prizes.

Brendan O’Dowd will sing and play guitar and there will be plenty of surprises around the town.

On Friday, December 7 Boyle will host the ‘Tastes of Christmas’. Special Offers and prizes galore at Kelly’s Gala, from 10-4pm while at 2pm Boles of Boyle will have Irish Designers to help you dress to impress this Christmas, followed by the biggest and best Christmas Markets ever in King House and its Grounds which will run through to Sunday 9th.
