An Evening of Improvised Sound and Music will be hosted by a number of artists at King House, Boyle this Saturday, September 28.

Some of the leaders and performers in the DIY music scene make their way to King House, Boyle this Saturday at 8pm for ‘An Evening of Improvised Music and Sound’.

Members of the public are invited to come along for this FREE event where musicians such as Ed Devane, Fergus Cullane, David Donohue, Ailbhe Nic Oireachtaigh, John Picardo, David Lacey and more will come together for a completely unique and totally improvised gig using a wide range of instruments including grand-piano, viola, clarinet, bass-clarinet, synthesizers, home-made electronics, percussion and more.

For some of the performers this is an experiment in sound, for others it’s an unknown melodic journey – what they will all try to do is create something new and coherent in the moment without the constraints of rehearsals of musical notes.
