This year’s Leitrim Fleadh returns to Drumsna for four days of traditional, music, song and dance, April 24 - 27.

This year’s Leitrim Fleadh returns to Drumsna for four days of traditional, music, song and dance, April 24 - 27.

It all kicks off this Thursday, April 24 at 9.30pm with a Singers Session in Taylor’s Bar.

On Friday, April 25, the Sean Nós Dancing Competition will take place at 7pm in McLoughlin’s Bar. The same venue will host Padraig Sweeney Celebration Night at 9.30pm.

The main competitions gets underway on Saturday, April 26.

At 11am the U10 music competitions will take place in Annaduff GAA Centre. Set Dancing starts at 1pm while Figure Dancing competitions begin at 4pm in Annaduff GAA Centre.

From 6-7.30pm, A Youth Session by the Shannon will perform on the stunning Shannon River Walk (or in the Resource Centre if weather is unfavourable).

On Saturday at 8.30pm, Irene Guckian and Ronan Regan will launch their CD ‘Drumshanbows’ in Drumsna Resource Centre followed by a sessions in Duignans Bar.

Sunday, April 27th will start with a Fleadh Mass at 9.30am. A commemorative plaque will be unveiled by Drumsna CCE at 10.30am.

At 12.30pm Fleadh competitions will continue. From 2pm on Sunday there will be street entertainment - come along for a great weekend in Drumsna!
