This Friday, July 4 Solas Gallery, Ballinamore, is pleased to host solo exhibitions by Brendan Dean with “What`s Love got to do with it?” and Celia Richard “ Residence”.

Both artists touch on their personal feelings and their observations on life in these colourful and interesting exhibitions.

Brendan has travelled extensively, always adding to his artistic and personal knowledge and lives in Ballinamore. Celia, originally from France, has settled happily in Cavan. Celia`s exhibition is a collection of paintings and drawings of interiors, exteriors, gardens and still lifes and, to use her words, “junk & paraphernalia”, all the things that make up a “residence”. Brendan`s exhibition is an exploration of journey, destination unknown. This work is an autobiographical diary of experience that is inspired and informed by his explorations of emotional development. The exhibitions will open this Friday at 7.30pm and run until 26th July. July 12 is hand in day for the Solas Open Summer exhibition. www.solasart.ie.
