Playing at the cutting edge of folk and traditional with music that is inventive and pioneering KAN is a group made up of arguably the most talented young musicians on the scene today.

With Brian Finnegan from Flook and Aidan O’Rourke from Lau, joining forces with ace young guitarist Ian Stephenson and master Manchester drummer Jim Goodwin KAN travel a daring and innovative new musical path. Both Brian and Aidan are held in the highest regard as composers, and here they bring their new compositions and traditional tunes to life with scintillating style. These four have an alchemy that is wonderfully hypnotic, the perfect balance between grace and power, sunlight and shade - a uniquely thrilling union.

KAN’s concerts have received rave reviews from audiences and presenters alike and they continue to blaze their trail this year, with the release of their much anticipated debut album, Sleeper and a limited number Irish tour dates one of which is at The Dock, Carrick-on-Shannon this Wednesday, April 10 - their only appearance in the North West of Ireland

Tickets to see KAN are available now from The Dock box office on 071 96 50828 or on line at www.thedock.ie.
