Carrick local Ailie Blunnie will launch her new EP with a concert at The Dock on August 30th .

Recorded on a frosty February Friday, “On love.. and other murder mysteries” sees Ailie hymn, haw, rant, rave, quip, joke, mull and muse over the best and worst in life and love.

From the poptasticly playful ‘Coming To Get Ya’, right through to the Satie-esque simplicity of ‘Charlie’s Lullaby’, this début EP promises to delight, touch, and warm even the hardest of hearts.

Since embarking on her song writing career, Ailie has given headline performances in venues nationwide and played support to John Spillane, Paddy Casey, Juliet Turner, Luka Bloom, Eoin Coughlan and The Four of Us.  She has also sung for TV and radio broadcasts and recordings with Vyvienne Long, Eoin Coughlan and Paddy Casey.

For the launch of her début EP at The Dock , she will be joined on stage by full band. Bookings: 071 96 50828 or www.thedock.ie
