They say ‘The best things in life are free’ and this is very true of the Ballinamore Free Fringe Festival which runs from Thursday 22nd - Sunday 25th August across 11 live venues.
Ballinamore Free Fringe Festival is an Irish voluntary non profit festival dedicated to promoting community and cultural diversity through the arts and promoting unsigned acts from Ireland and abroad. This year’s festival will see over 250 acts take to the stage. Travelling from all across the world, countries such as Finland, United Kingdom, Australia, America and Germany will all be represented over the weekend along with performers from every county in the country making their way to the lovely Leitrim.
The festival was launched in Ballinamore County Library on Thursday August 1 by Independent TD Luke Ming Flanagan, Shannonside radio presenter Charlie McGettigan, up and coming musical star Ashley Tubridy and professional harpist and composer Claire Roche.
