On Friday, August 9 the much acclaimed Eleanor Shanley and De Dannan will showcase their many talents. Eleanor Shanley is no stranger to the Kiltyclogher Stage. She has appeared here many times on the Kiltyclogher Stage as has the multi talented Brian McGrath. De Dannan is one of the most famous names in traditional Irish music. For almost 40 years this group has been entertaining audiences around the world with their distinctive style and vibrant approach.

Founding member Alec Finn is joined by the beautiful singer from County Leitrim Eleanor Shanley. They are also accompanied by the accordion maestro from County Limerick Derek Hickey, exciting young Galway fiddler Ronan Flaherty and Brian McGrath from County Fermanagh on Banjo and Piano. Together they create that distinctive magical sound that can only be one group, De Dannan.

Also over the weekend don’t miss: the Feis, Children’s Treasure Hunt and Set Dancing Ceili with Swallows Tail on Saturday, August 10. On Sunday 11th, the Honda 50 and Tractor Run from the Village gets started at 1pm, the Fancy Dress assembles at 3pm and there will be kids activities all day. In the evening don’t miss Set Dancing with Copperplate and Old Tyme Dancing with Country Cousins.
