Louis Lovett known to many as befuddled German resident Dieter Langer from Killnaskully is coming to town with his own theatre company Theatre Lovett one of Ireland’s most exciting companies for young and old alike.

Lovett with his wife Muireann Ahern bring a beautiful tale for young and old to The Dock, Carrick-on-Shannon on March 5 at 6pm and on March 4 at 11am. Mr. Foley, The Radio Operator, a show for 6 - 60 year olds and beyond is a gentle tale of radio waves, sorrowful partings and hilarious slapstick comedy. Spend some time with old Mr. Foley as he forgets to remember and remembers to forget.

Old Jack Foley has a sore toe and it’s not getting better. Once when he was young and strong he dreamed of joining the circus. But now, tired and grey, he sits alone by his radio twiddling the dials on his memories.
