Local talent Declan Guckian returns home once more with a short tour throughout July.

The tour is to serve as a platform to promote his upcoming EP release, for which the first single ‘Gone From Here’ is now available on itunes.

Declan has been living in London for the last three years. During this period he has played some of the city’s most established venues such as ‘The Bedford’ and ‘The Regal Room’. Other artists to have played these venues are the likes of Paolo Nutini and James Vincent McMorrow. This last year in particular has seen Declan concentrating solely on recording the EP. After countless hours slaving away in the studio he is confident in the result, stating “This is something I’m really proud of. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”

The tour kicks off in Galway and ventures to Dublin and Sligo. Also scheduled, Declan will be appearing on various radio shows such as Shannonside FM on July and an appearance on ‘Balcony TV Dublin’.

The songs featuring on the EP are so heartfelt and thought provoking that this unique artist has earned his place in the book of singer-songwriters. Guckian will perform at Áras na nGael, Galway on July 7, on Shannonside Live on July 14, on Baclcony TV on July 15, at Ballaghboy Lodge, Sligo on July 21 and at The Grand Social, Dublin on July 22.
