‘Who is Manorhamilton?’ returns to The Glens Centre’s stage this Thursday 18th April!

The culmination of Sorcha Fox’s year as Theatre Artist in Residence at The Glens, ‘Who is Manorhamilton?’, is back by popular demand. A multi media piece with live music and performance, ‘Who is Manorhamilton?’ has the contribution of people from Manorhamilton at it’s core. It is performed by Sorcha Fox, with live music from Dee Armstrong, Seanan Brennan and members of Comhaltas Cluainin and includes a dance piece by the Taheny Dance Academy.

All places have many identities that coexist.

All places have histories, some histories never get recorded.

‘Who is Manorhamilton?’ is a theatre piece that attempts to look at those different identities, in a snapshot of a year of human history in Manorhamilton - an extraordinary, ordinary place.

A writer, actor and co-director of Benbo Productions - Sorcha is a recipient of a 2013 Arts Council Theatre Artist’s Bursary. She will be bringing her performed poetry piece ‘Who Am Ireland?’ to Zimbabwe and Zambia at the end of April.

Who is Manorhamilton returns to the Glens on Thurs 18th April at 8.30pm. Tickets are €10/8 or €5 for children and can be booked from the Glens at 071 98 55833 or at
