The Corn Mill Theatre Group are presting the 10th Annual One Act Drama Festival in Carrigallen from November 15 through November 17.
Adjudicator at the festival is Biddy White Lennon. She is a noted cook and personality, familiar to many people as Maggie from The Riordans.
On Friday, November 15 at 8pm the Ennis Players will present The Problem (Open) by A.R. Gurney; they will be followed by the Athlone Little Theatre with The Last Crusader (Open) by Barry McKinley and the Amphitheatre Co. with Effie’s Burning (Confined) by Valerie Windsor.
On Saturday, November 16 at 8pm the Corn Mill Theatre Group will present Shoebox & Whiskey (Open) by Charles McGuinness; they will be followed by City Limits Productions with Semper Fidelis (Open) by Henry Hudson and Castlemanor Players with Riders to the Sea (Confined) by J.M. Synge.
On Sunday, November 17 at 2pm the Backstage Theatre will present Ritual for Dolls (Open) by George MacEwan Green; they will be followed by Lost Sheep Productions with Drama Darling (Confined) by David Kilgannon; Phoenix Players with The Recognition Scene from Anastasia (Confined) by Marcelle Maurette and On Q Theatre with No More Joe (Open) by Paul Cullen.
Admission is €10 nightly or €20 for the weekend.
