The famous Drumcoura Saloon will host Dutch folk singer and banjo player Robin Hey this coming Saturday night, May 30.

Robin, who has been in Ireland since 2009 is an accomplished singer of both Irish and Scottish ballads. Inspired by such folk luminaries as Luke Kelly, The Dubliners, Al O’Donnell, The Clancy Brothers and The Pogues, Rob also writes and performs his own songs.

Performing in restaurants, hotels and numerous festivals across the Netherlands, Rob began gigging in 2003 and has also played to crowds in Florida and the Canary Islands.

Rob has recently attracted plenty of attention on the streets of Galway, Limerick and Killarney with his singing and playing style.
