Ballinamore hospital start date in March

Construction on the long-awaited Ballinamore Community Hospital and Primary Care Centre is set to begin next month.

The HSE is currently finalising details on the plans for project which is expected to cost in the region of €6m.

When complete it will incorporate 20 long term community care beds and a primary care unit.

Work on the site is expected to be complete by June 2014.
