Bank of Ireland hold 9th bi-annual Enterprise Week

Bank of Ireland held its 9th well established bi-annual Enterprise Week from Friday, 15th November to Friday, 22nd November.

Enterprise Week provides local businesses across the country a unique opportunity to show and sell their products or services, through the ‘Show your Business’ element.

Bank of Ireland meets over 2,000 Irish businesses and farmers every week with around 500 per week taking out loan facilities to support their day to day business needs or to move their business to the next level.

The bank will be opening c30,000 new current accounts for SMEs and farmers in 2013 and has announced that total approved lending to the SME and Agri sectors was €2.6bn to end September 2013, slightly ahead of approval levels in the same period last year.

50% of all new and increased non property lending approvals for SMEs in the first half of 2013 were provided by Bank of Ireland. “ We have a clear understanding of the vital role cash flow and credit play for small and medium businesses and we want to lend,” according to Ita Gray, Manager, Bank of Ireland, Carrick-on-Shannon.

Seven different businesses displayed in the Carrick-on-Shannon branch during the mose recent Enterprise Week:

Alice Ann Bridal & Fabric House where they specialise in bridal gowns, bridemaids and wedding shoes. Their communion dresses for next year’s season have just arrivred in store. Also a stock of fabric wools and haberdashery available so call into the ladies.

Fresh Today displayed their fresh home grown fruit and vegetales which is on offer in their Landmark Court location.

Mulvey’s House of Gifts showcased their Irish products and always a certain location to get a gift to suit everyone’s budget for Christmas and all year round.

Prima Donna shoes had a display of some of their shoes which can be purchased on Main Street in their new look shop.

Enda Guckian Design & Building Services which provides a service for planning applications, construction management for full developments, renovations and extensions. Design and management of all group water and sewerage schemes, all land transfer requirements, estimation and measurement on all projects. Enda has 15 years experience and he offers you a unique service on acting as an agent for local quality assured tradespeople and contractors, taking the burden from the client and organising all required work while creating employment in construction for the local economy.

Pats Carpets showcased some of their furniture. This is a family business which has two full floors of furniture, carpets and loads of nice pieces for your home, make sure to visit Breege and her team.

Forever Living Products had a range of nutritional health, personal and skincare products on display. Also they have a new range of sonya flawless make up, the ladies can make up a hamper for Christmas for you.
