Deliveries continue to arrive

Essential fodder deliveries have continued to arrive in Co Leitrim over the last few days.

Fodder deliveries continue around the county

Farming organisations, Co-ops, local marts and even banks have now rowed in behind the farming community as the struggle continues to source fodder for animals after the appalling Summer and Winter of 2012.

Harkin calls on ICMSA to reconsider coupling policy

The opposition expressed by the Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers Association (ICMSA) to the coupled payments proposed by both the European Parliament and European Council is a regrettable and divisive response which would serve the interests of only a small number of farmers.
