Dromahair man appointed GM of Connacht Gold Consumer Foods

Connacht Gold has announced the appointment of Eoghan Sweeney as General Manager of its Consumer Foods Business.

Connacht Gold has announced the appointment of Eoghan Sweeney as General Manager of its Consumer Foods Business.

Eoghan, who is a native of Dromahair, will lead the Consumer Foods team in further growing the business. He has over 18 years’ experience in the food industry.

He joined Connacht Gold in 2006 and has held various management roles in Consumer Foods including his most recent position of Customer Services Manager.

Eoghan graduated from UCD Michael Smurfit Business School in 2011 with a Graduate Diploma in Sales Management and Strategy.

Connacht Gold Chief Executive, Aaron Forde, said Eoghan Sweeney will bring new skills and experience to the executive team at Connacht Gold
