Connacht TIHA to hold selection process

The Connacht Branch of the Traditional Irish Horse Association (TIHA) will be holding a selection process to identify 20 traditionally bred foals, (Irish Draught/Connemara x Thoroughbred), likely to develop into ‘Go For Gold’ horses. These foals will be entered in a Select sale at Goresbridge on Saturday, October 13, 2012.

These foals will be entered in a Select sale at Goresbridge on Saturday, October 13, 2012.

Selection venues and dates are as follows:

l 4th September at 7pm -Ard Chuain Equestrian Centre, Co Sligo;

l 5th September at 7pm - Uppermace Equestrian Centre, Claremorris, Co Mayo and

l 6th September at 7pm - Duffy’s Equestrian Centre, Claregalway, Co Galway.

We urge all breeders to bring their foals forward and support this initiative. The mare’s passport is required on the day of selection: the foal’s passport before the sale. All welcome. Any inquiries to 087 6167 655 or 086 8488 121.
