Agri Aware, Ireland’s independent agri-food educational body, secured first place in the European Commission’s ‘CAP 50 Communication Awards’ in Brussels, for their project in Family Farm, developed by Agri Aware and Dublin Zoo.

Family Farm is Ireland’s smallest farm, being ‘an acre of fun, representing an island of farming’. With over 1 million visitors per year, Family Farm was recognised at European level as providing a key platform to communicate the importance of the Irish agri-food industry to the general public.

The development of Family Farm was supported by the Irish Farmers Association, Bord Bia, FBD, IFAC and Dublin Zoo.

Agri Aware wishes to thank its founding members and all its patrons for their continued support.
