Lakeland Dairies announces Group Financial Controller

The major cross border dairy processing co-operative, Lakeland Dairies has announced the appointment of Peter Sheridan as Group Financial Controller.

Mr Sheridan has worked with Lakeland Dairies since 1983 in various management roles and has been the Financial Controller of Dairy Operations since 2006. He is a Certified Public Accountant and an MBA graduate of Smurfit School of Business, UCD. He recently participated in the Strategic Leadership Programme for Chief Financial Officers programme run by Enterprise Ireland and Stanford University.

He will succeed Group Financial Controller Michael Ryan who has been appointed Company Secretary of Lakeland Dairies. He will take up the role of Group Financial Controller from 1st March, 2013, and will lead the Finance teams across the Group supporting the successful execution of strategy and achievement of growth targets.
