Borderline Players bring ‘Cash on Delivery’ to Kilty

Pettigo based Borderline Players are on tour this month, and this Saturday, June 23 will take to the stage in Kiltyclogher Community Centre on the final night of the current run. The talented group is bringing Michael Cooney’s farce, Cash on Delivery to life and local audiences are guaranteed an evening of side-splitting laughter, tears and perhaps a few surprises along the way.

The talented group is bringing Michael Cooney’s farce, Cash on Delivery to life and local audiences are guaranteed an evening of side-splitting laughter, tears and perhaps a few surprises along the way.

The production is directed by Siobhan O’Brien.

The story: Eric Swan (aided by his uncle George and unbeknown to his wife Linda) has pocketed thousands of pounds through fraudulent Social Security claims after being made redundant. When the Swan’s lodger, Norman Bassett opens the door to a DSS Inspector, mayhem follows. Also womens underwear, a psychologist, an undertaker, and a lady from the family crisis department appear! The cast comprises of familiar Borderline faces: Patrick Duggan, Frances McGloin, Joseph Walsh, Nicole Beaumont, Teresa Mc Loughlin, Geraldine Britton, Eleanor Gallagher, Donal Monaghan, Terry O’Connell and director Siobhan O’Brien are the faces of the characters.
