This Easter Saturday, April 23, Leitrim’s finest young lady will be selected to go forward and represent the county in the Rose of Tralee 2011 competition.

The Leitrim Rose Committee are calling for all last minute entries to be sent in before this Thursday, April 21 at 12pm. This is the opportunity of a life time and what better way to spend your Easter than getting dressed up and really becoming the belle of the ball? Applications are welcomed from clubs, business and local organisations.

The 2011 Leitrim Rose Selection night is this Saturday in the luxurious Lough Rynn Castle, Mohill. The event starts at 8pm with a great night’s entertainment guaranteed.

The winning Rose this weekend gets to represent Leitrim and her local area at the Regional Rose Finals in Portlaoise on the June Bank Holiday Weekend where she will experience all the pampering of being a rose and being interviewed on stage by Daithi O’Shea.
