Dedicated to resurrecting Jimmy Gralton’s spirit of challenge in Leitrim, the Jimmy Gralton Film Club has had a very successful run in the Glens Centre Manorhamilton for April.
The last film of this inaugural season of the Jimmy Gralton Film Club is on Wednesday April 25 is Gasland, the Oscar-nominated documentary by Josh Fox about the dangers of fracking. This has been shown previously in the Mobile Cinema around the county, but as information grows about the planned fracking venture in Thur Mountain, it’s timely that it be shown publicly in north Leitrim at this time. There will be a post-screening discussion afterwards.
The Jimmy Gralton Film Club will be back in the Glens Centre after the summer with another season of films that celebrate the spirit of challenge necessary to create positive change.
