Carrick CS 1-7, Roscommon 1-14

Despite a second half surge from the Carrick lads that cut an eight point Roscommon lead down to just two points with 14 minutes left, Roscommon were well worth their seven point winning margin, their speed causing the Leitrim school no end of problems.

Their speed in defence to get out in front of the Carrick forwards and their ability to play first time ball meant that Roscommon were on top from the fifth minute onwards, only failing to capitalise on their dominance thanks to Carrick keeper Brendan Flynn making some outstanding saves.
