Fixtures: Our Senior team continued their Shield Campaign with two recent games.

On Easter Saturday, we travelled to play St Marys and came away with a share of the points. In a good competitive game , we made a very bright start and went four points up. However the home side finished the half strongly leaving us a point up at the break. With scores hard to come by for both sides, St Marys went three up with 10 minutes to play but a good finish from our lads ended with Gary Plunkett scoring an equalising point before the final whistle. We wish Michael Quinn a speedy recovery from a nasty head injury picked up after half time.

Last Friday, we entertained Ballinaglera on a perfect evening for football and came out on top after a high scoring contest. While the visitors hit some excellent points, the home sides goals proved the difference , on a final scoreline of 4-12 to 1-12. A word of thanks to Donal Quinn and his team for providing tea & Sandwiches to both teams after the game, much appreciated.

Our next senior fixture is a Div 1 league match away to Dromahair on weekend of April 28, which is the first of four consecutive league games.

With goals again being the difference, our Juniors went down to Fenagh on a scoreline of 1-7 to 3-8 on Sunday last. On Friday evening next our Juniors entertain Aughnasheelin. Well done to Stpehen Gilheaney & Gary Plunkett who were involved with Leitrim Minors in their recent win over Mayo. The club has another connection with this team through Dublin based Darragh McKiernan, son of former club player Seamus McKiernan. We wish all involved the best of luck in the upcoming Connacht Championship.
