Martin Dolan must be one of the busiest managers in the GAA world as he guided the Leitrim Ladies Senior and Minor team to victories over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The Ladies Senior team recovered from the disappointment of their League Semi-Final loss to Waterford just six days previously to come from behind and defeat Sligo in the first round of the Connacht Intermediate Championship on Saturday in Geevagh.
And on Monday, the Carrigallen man donned the Manager’s bib once more as he guided the Minor Ladies team to a 3-11 to 1-10 victory over Roscommon in the Connacht Minor B Final in Ballyhaunis, the Green & Gold Ladies recovering from a five point halftime deficit to take the title and a place in the All-Ireland Semi-Final.
The Ladies Senior team will be back in action again on Friday, May 16, against newly crowned Division 4 League champions Roscommon. A win would put Leitrim into the Connacht Final which is scheduled for July 6.
