Leitrim will contest an All-Ireland Final next Wednesday, July 29, when the County U16 Ladies take on Wexford in the Final of the “C” Championship.

An Aine Flood penalty with virtually the last kick of the game saw Leitrim overcome Armagh last Wednesday to qualify for the Final, with the venue yet to be fixed.

Next weekend, the focus will be on the Connacht Gold Senior and Fox’s Monumentals Intermediate Club Championships with the meeting of champions Aughawillan and 2014 League winners Glencar/Manorhamilton the stand-0ut game.

Unfortunately, there will be no Friday game for neutral fans with eight games on Saturday night in four double headers.

Sunday will also see the second round of the Cox’s Steakhouse Ladies Senior Championship with champions Dromahair taking on neighbours Glencar/Manorhamilton while Aughawillan face Oughteragh Gaels in a derby and Mohill take on Kiltubrid.
