GAA fans in and around the Ballinamore area will have a dilemma next Saturday after the Masita All-Ireland Post Primary Schools Senior C Semi-Final featuring Ballinamore Community School was fixed for Gort.

With Leitrim also in action next Saturday, March 15, in Dungarvan against Waterford in a crucial Allianz League Division 4 encounter, the clash of games will leave supporters with a quandry as Ballinamore take on Cork school Colaiste Ghobnatan from Ballyvourney for a place in the All-Ireland Final.

Ballyvourney are coached by former Kerry star Mickey Ned O’Sullivan who has served as manager of the Kerry and Limerick Senior teams as well as the Kingdom’s Minor team in 2013.

The Cork school defeated Thurles CBS in the Munster Final at the beginning of February and O’Sullivan was a very interested spectator in Ballyhaunis last week when Ballinamore demolished Gortnor Abbey in the Connacht Final.
