The coverage of next Sunday’s big match in the Leitrim Observer doesn’t stop as over the next few days, we will be releasing interviews with Wayne McKeon, Fabian McMorrow and Paddy McGowan exclusively on the web.
Paddy McGowan talks about how Leitrim will treat London with the utmost respect while Fabian McMorrow says that Letirim will be putting the League campaign well behind. Wayne McKeon is hoping that the London game will be a stepping stone to greater things this year for Leitrim.
From the London camp, sharpshooter and injury doubt Eoin O’Neill chats to Drumshanbo native Tony Tighe as he believes that goals will be the key to the Exiles securing victory.
O’Neill was hurt after just 20 seconds of Tir Chonaill Gaels’ Club Championship clash with champions Fulham Irish but London manager Paul Coggins is hoping for the best - “We’re hoping it’s not as bad as it first looked. It might be just a dead leg. He was in the pool with the team on Sunday night and he’ll have a couple more of those during the week.”
London also has concerns over Greg Crowley, Danny Ryan (both hamstring) and John Scanlon (back) as Coggins brought his players to the Crown Moran Hotel on Sunday night for a recovery session and to help refocus minds on Sunday’s visit of Leitrim. The scheduling of club championship games means all of the London panel are now eligible to play.
