Senior Team Joint manager Brian Breen has called on Leitrim supporters to help secure jobs for members of the County Senior team, at last Wednesday’s Supporters Club launch he reveal that six members of the current panel are without work.

Speaking at the 2013 launch of the Leitrim Supporters Club launch, Brian revealed that while several players are returning to the Leitrim set-up, the situation remains dire with six members of the panel without work.

“I would like to make a plea out there for jobs for our players,” said Brian, “I know I made a similar plea last year with limited success but at the moment we have six or seven guys on the panel who are without work and one or two have indicated that they could be leaving the panel.

“I know that there are people who are more than willing to set up a sub-committee but if there are any jobs out there, it would be a great help.”

Brian revealed that Barry Prior and Conor Beirne had returned to the panel, Brendan Brennan of Melvin Gaels had also committed and they hoped that Gary Reynolds would soon be rejoining the County set-up while he termed Cian Reynolds, a new addition to the panel under the parentage rule, as “one for the future.”
