Leitrim will play Armagh on Saturday, July 13, in the All-Ireland Qualifiers after the second round draw was made on TV3 this morning (Monday).

The GAA have confirmed that the game will take place on Saturday week due to Leitrim’s involvement in the drawn semi-final last Sunday and the Orchard County will visit Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada after Leitrim were drawn out of the hat first.

Although far from the worst draw in the Qualifiers (Roscommon would appear to have drawn the short straw against Tyrone), Armagh would be regarded as extremely difficult opponents. The teams did meet in a challenge game recently so the teams will be familiar with each other but Armagh sent out an impressive meassage last weekend with a 2-21 to 0-2 victory over Wicklow in the first round of the Qualifiers.

The full Qualifier draw is as follows:

Clare v Laois

Derry v Down

Longford v Wexford

Leitrim v Armagh

Cavan v Fermanagh

Roscommon v Tyrone

Kildare v Louth

Galway v Waterford
