The talk of a potential Connacht Final has been filling the Leitrim air ever since the draw was made for the Connacht championship.

It is not just the supporters hoping to make the July 21 showdown as Mohill’s Danny Beck insisted he and his team mates are all too aware of the chance they have. “I think everyone on this panel realises what an opportunity it is. London are there to be bet, it’s no easy feat but they have to be bet.”

Recent meetings suggest Sunday’s game will be tight with Danny agreeing, “Here in the league they hit the crossbar in the last few minutes and then we went up and kicked the winning point. That game could have gone either way and I’m sure it’ll be the same again.”
