Ballinamore Community School will contest the Tesco Homegrown All-Ireland Post Primary Schools Junior B Final after they won Thursday’s Semi-Final.

After the performances of the School’s Senior Boys team who narrowly missed out on a place in the All-Ireland Final with a one point defeat to Ballyvourney, Ballinamore Ladies went one step further with an impressive win on Thursday.

The Leitrim team had a comprehensive 7-11 to 2-4 victory over Loreto Clonmel in the semi-final played in Clara, a game that was fixed at extremely short notice.

Ballinamore will now face Eureka Kells who had a 3-7 to 1-2 victory over Loreto Cavan last week in their semi-final with the final fixed for Saturday, April 12.
