The first weekend of April promises to be a very busy one for Leitrim GAA fans as the dates and venues have been set for the Allianz Hurling League Division 3B Final and the Connacht Under 21 Final.

The County Under 21 footballers will take centre-stage on Saturday, April 5, when Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada hosts the Connacht Final against Roscommon, with a 2.30 throw-in. The game will be preceded by the meeting of Leitrim and Mayo in the Connacht Minor League at 12.45.

The earlier than normal throw-in time is due to the fact that Sean Hagan’s Senior team are travelling to London later than evening for the final game in the Allianz NFL Division 4 campaign which, it has been confirmed, will have a 2 pm throw-in time as all games in the final round must start at the same time.

On Sunday, April 6, Leitrim hurlers make the short journey to Markievicz Park in Sligo to take on Tyrone in the Allianz League Division 3B at 3.45, the winner gaining promotion in one of the biggest games in recent years for the Green & Gold hurlers. It is expected that the game will form part of a double header with the Division 3A Final between Roscommon and Donegal.
