Sligo men arrested in Manorhamilton area over weekend charged with membership of the IRA

Two Sligo men arrested in the Manorhamilton area over the weekend have appeared before a sitting of the Special Criminal Court charged with membership of an unlawful organisation, styling itself the Irish Republican Army, otherwise Oglaigh na hEireann, otherwise the IRA .

27-year-old Damhan McFadden, Kilmacowen, Ballysadare and 35-year-old Julian Flohr, Rusheen Ard, Caltra were charged with membership of an unlawful organisation, styling itself the Irish Republican Army on August 14, 2016.

Justice Tony Hunt, presiding with Judge Sinead Ni Chulachain and Judge William Hamill, remanded both men in custody until this Friday, August 19, when they are to appear via videolink.
