Anger as Mohill Bank of Ireland ATM out of service again for Bank Holiday Weekend

Mohill County Councillor, Seadhna Logan has expressed his anger and frustration over ongoing service issues with the town's Bank of Ireland ATM.

Cllr Logan told the Leitrim Observer that the ATM went out of service on Saturday night leaving the town with no on-street ATM services for the remainder of the Bank Holiday Weekend.

"There is a great sense of annoyance in the town because this meant there was no (on-street) ATM for most of the Bank Holiday weekend and, most especially, during the Horse Fair (on Sunday)," said Cllr Logan.

"This is not an isolated incident. We have had ongoing issues with the Bank of Ireland ATM and there have been problems on previous Bank Holiday weekends. It just isn't good enough."

Cllr Logan explained he had previously contacted Bank of Ireland about problems with the ATM in Mohill but the impression he had been given in response was that these were just isolated incidents.

"I don't believe this is the case. It happens too often and this needs to be addressed," he said.

The Sinn Féin councillor said he would be contacting Bank of Ireland Headquarters for an explanation today.
