An Tóstal Festival to hold Fundraising Night for Loughlin Óg Burns and Leitrim Calling

This year An Tóstal committee are holding a fundraising night on Friday, November 4 from 8pm-10pm for two very worthy causes Baby Loughlin Óg Burns and Leitrim Calling. Admission optional.

Leitrim Calling is a free, friendly, confidential telephone call service reaching out to older and vulnerable persons in our communities. They include people of any age, who are feeling lonely or facing difficult challenges in their lives, both in the short term or longer term. They operate in Drumshanbo.

The other cause is Baby Loughlin Óg who is the son of Amanda Forde (Ballinaglera/Drumshanbo) and Loughlin Burns well known entertainer from the Looney Hoppers show. Loughlin Óg was born with Cloacal Exstrophy (OEIS), an extremely rare and complex birth defect which in Loughlin Óg's case means that he was born with severe and devastating medical issues multiple organs were located on the outside of his body.

Funds raised will help the family with the costs involved in caring for Loughlin Óg.
