Just over half of Leitrim schools switch to Digiweb

Digiweb, the Irish-owned telecommunications company has come out top of the class in the recent Schools Broadband Access Program tender for schools in County Leitrim.

In the past week, it has been announced that 60% of the 50 primary and secondary schools in Leitrim will receive their high speed broadband access via Digiweb.

Digiweb Group CEO, Colm Piercy has welcomed the awarding of the largest contract under the program that will see Digiweb connect 2179 schools across Ireland to its high speed internet network.
