Colin Crossan completed the full set of Leitrim Pool Associationtitles when he won the fifth annual tournament in aid of children with special needs and Drumshanbo Child Care Centre.

Colin Crossan completed the full set of Leitrim Pool Associationtitles when he won the fifth annual tournament in aid of children with special needs and Drumshanbo Child Care Centre.

Colin defeated Liam Shanley in the final, losing just two frames on the way to the title. Liam conceded four frames on his way to the final but Colin played superb pool to win 5-0 to take the title.

Thanking David Carthy of Lock 17 for all his hospitality, Chairman John Casey thanked all who contributed to this very worthy cause which raised a total of €521 to help fund the special needs. Hughie Moffat was the winner of a bottle of whiskey sponsored by the LPA with Tommie Early and Jeremiah Coluter winning bottles of wine, sponsored by Jeremiah and John Casey.

Winners of Duck Race: 1st €200 Donal Quinn, Aughawillan, 2nd €100 Enya O’Dowd, Carrick-on-Shannon; 3rd €50 Tommie O’Dowd, Ballyfarnon.
