Leitrim’s International athletes Colin Griffin and Laura Reynolds are in action in Russia this weekend when they take part in the World Cup of Racewalking.
The Leitrim walkers travel as part of a strong Irish challenge in Saransk in the south of Russia. Both athletes are in action on Sunday when Laura joins Olive Loughnane in the 20K event while Colin lines up with Jamie Costin and Michael Doyle in the 50K where they make up a team. Robbie Heffernan and Brendan Boyce go in the 20K on Saturday while Kate Veale will be expected to perform well in the Junior 10K the same day.
