Pub League: The concluding fixtures of the first phase of the league get underway this Thursday and Friday nights. In Group A the table stands as follows: Monicas 44, The Silver Eel 42, Keegans 32, Duignans A 24, Duignans B 19 and The Venue 4. Group B compiles of Lock 17 on 43, The Leitrim Inn 42, Carthys 34, Gings 27, Gerties 22 and Club F 12.

The top three teams from each group will contest in another league format in the Carthy Cup section while the bottom three will battle it out in the Shield.

Tour Championship: There will be a total of six of these events which will take place in the pool hall in Drumshanbo. The top ranked players will get the opportunity to represent Leitrim at the All Ireland Championships. John McKenna was victorious in the first event, he defeated Jamie Gaffney in closely fought encounter. A date is yet to be confirmed for the final of the second event which will feature Niall Sweeney and Hugh Kielty.

Duck Derby: The annual LPA Duck Derby will take place on Sunday November 30, at 11 am in Battlebridge, Leitrim. Ducks cost five euro each. First place will receive €200, second claiming €100 and €50 for third place. The funds raised from this will contribute to the maintenance of our pool hall. All support will be greatly appreciated.
