Lough Key Sprint Triathlon September 9: Things are moving along nicely with loads of progress being made for our annual Sprint Race, we would welcome everyone to come along on the day and shout the competitors on. If you were given a job or have anything which might be of help to the race then please get in touch as soon as possible.

Carlingford Olympic Triathlon: A very good result for John Cloughley on his first attempt at the Olympic distance, 34th overall and 10th in his category, a great achievement.

Gaelforce West: We had members competing is grueling event in Westport with some great times: Lorcan Kirwan 5hr 42min; Barry Kerr 5hr 25min; Phillip Coughlan just over 6hr

Sprint Race Weekend (Racing and Social): The plan for the weekend of the Sprint race 8th and 9th of September is: Saturday morning from approx 11 we will set up the course and transition; Saturday afternoon,(approx 3 o clock) any member not racing Sunday is invited to race the course; Saturday evening from 7-9 is registration in Lough Key and goodie bags packing; Sunday morning the official race takes place with all members either racing or marshalling; Sunday night (approx 9 o clock till late) there will be a Club get-together in Murtagh’s recap of the year, with presentations of prizes etc, all members, their other halves and family and friends are invited; Finger food and a good nights crack will be provided.
