Thanking everyone who took part, the Chairman of the Leitrim Pool Association, John Casey wished half the Irish Junior team representing Leitrim the very best of luck. To see four players from a small county like Leitrim on the Irish Junior team is quite an achivement and a reward for all their hours of practice and dedication to the game. John hoped this year would bring the European World Championships and also bring the National Cups to Leitrim under the Irish Junior Captain Kevin McWeeney. A total of €570 had been raised.

A further Quiz will be held in the Blue Devon on Friday night February 15, and John thanked all who supported the quiz held in Shivnan’s, Ballyfarnon. Thanking the supporters of raffle and sponsors, J. Coluter, John Casey, Barbara Conlon, John Reynolds, Mary Gordon and Liam Shanley.
